HI, DAMAGE (2024)


In the exhibition Querencia, Oil Productions recomposes sexuality as a curative force and sets out to transform WallStreet into a territory of hybrid and fictional explorations devoted to bodies, sexualities and the dynamics of (dis)connection.

The sonority of Querencia is associated with querer (to want) or carencia (deficiency), is intended to be a place where a protective capsule is erected against systems of oppression, in search of security. In this space, care practices, rituals and means of protection are conceived as acts of resistance and collective fights.

This work deals with undesirable species, sexuality, and divergent communities in a growing fascist society.
